ANNAPOLIS, MD — Police said a man stole shrimp from an Annapolis store on Jan. 11. Officers were called to the business, located in the 1700 block of Forest Drive, around 6:24 p.m. for reports of shoplifting.
The Annapolis Police Department noted that it found the suspect in the parking lot with the stolen food. The accused man admitted to hiding the shrimp in his backpack and taking them from the store, an incident report added.
Police indicated that the man returned the shrimp to the business and was banned from the property. The store did not pursue criminal charges, and the man was free to go.
