The Rotary Club of Los Alamos held its 12th Annual Crab Fest fundraiser Saturday night at Cottonwood on the Greens.
Rotary members and volunteers packaged 230 dinners sold and delivered 190 dinners, 40 of which were donated and delivered to first responders at Fire Station #4, the Los Alamos Police Department and emergency room staff at Los Alamos Medical Center.
The annual event included an online auction and raffle.
Crab Fest volunteers include Dan Castille, Jim O’Donnell, Laura Gonzales, Lesley Harelson, Skip and Linda King, Rob, Melissa, Lance and Lane Metcalf, Oliver and Kateri Morris, Kurt Steinhaus, Laura Loy and Kaya Loy.
Los Alamos High School Rotary Interact volunteers include Elise Ovaska, Malia Hanawalt, Tommy Oldham, Caleb Langenbrunner, Anika Lovato and Lindsey Thalmann.
Food and space provided by Cottonwood at the Greens Co-owners Pawel and Dorota Listwan prepared the food and provided the space to package the meals for pick-up and delivery.
Proceeds for the Crab Fest event support Meals of Hope, Student Financial Awards, Polio Eradication and service projects in Mexico.
