Holiday Recipes
Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. picked lumped crab meat (uncooked)
- 2 c. homemade breadcrumbs (recipe below)
- 2 T. olive oil
- 1 dozen large white mushrooms (destemmed)
Instructions:
1.Combine crab meat, olive oil and breadcrumbs in a mixing bowl
2.Parbake white mushrooms with garlic olive on a sheet pan at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes
3.Add crab meat stuffing to mushrooms
4.Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes until golden
5.Remove from the oven and serve
Breadcrumb Ingredients:
- 2 lbs breadcrumbs
- 1/2 oz. olive oil
- 1 oz. parsley
- 1/2 oz. mayo
- Pinch of Grana Padano cheese
- 4 oz. garlic
Breadcrumb Instructions:
1.Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
Crab-Stuffed Lobster
Ingredients
1.5 lb whole lobster
1 c. homemade breadcrumbs (recipe below)
Instructions:
- Split whole lobster in half from the belly side to the back but not completely through
- Crack open but be careful so that the back shell stays together (butterflied)?Remove the vein from the tail and discard
- Remove the tomalley from the lobster and reserve for another use
- Parbake the lobster at 500 degrees Fahrenheit for approx. 15-18 minutes until it is almost finished cooked
- Add crab stuffing on top of the lobster
- Bake at 500 degrees Fahrenheit for approx 5-10 more minutes until golden brown
- Broil if necessary to get crispy
- Remove and serve

- 1/4 lb. breadcrumbs
- 1/4 oz. olive oil
- ?1/2 oz. parsley
- ? 1/4 oz. mayo
