Reeling in a 700-pound bluefin tuna is tough enough, but getting it into a small boat is even tougher, as three fishermen in Massachusetts discovered on a recent trip off Cape Cod.
A fisherman from another boat captured footage of the three anglers attempting to get the huge tuna into their 21-foot boat and posted it on ViralHog a few days ago. (Warning for salty language):
The fishermen succeeded—barely—by tying the front end of the tuna to the center console and then pulling the fish into the bow with a rope tied to its tail.
The weight of the fish and three anglers on one side caused the boat to tip precariously close to the water’s edge. The boat was inches from taking on water.

Someone on the filming boat cheered them on, saying, “Let’s go. You got it. Keep going. Yeah!”
When the fish came over the side of the 1979 Mako 21, the boat returned to its proper upright position, much to the relief of the fishermen.
