If you're living in Florida or even if you're just a hungry visitor, chances are you might be a fan of seafood. And what better place to be than the Sunshine State? Seafoodies are about to be in for a treat, as a new seafood restaurant opened in St. Pete.
Mr. and Mrs. Crab have made their way out of Bikini Bottom and into the Sunshine State, serving up a variety of delicious fish.
From fried bites to boils and even massive bags and platters filled to the brim with crab, lobster, shrimp, and more — there's a lot to love about this spot.
With locations already in Bradenton, Brandon, North Lauderdale, Gainesville, Kissimmee, Orlando, and Tampa, this locally loved fish spot opened a new location in St. Pete on September 6.
The menu has a ton to choose from too. Build your own platters will sing to the heart of the indecisive seafoodies, while fried fish options will offer a delightfully salty crunch.
But if you're looking to drown yourself in succulent seafood, their massive boil bags are going to be your go-to. With your choice of crab, mussels, shrimp, and sides mixed in and slathered with a Cajun-inspired house sauce — it's so juicy that you'll even need gloves while you dig in.
Those who aren't a fan of seafood won't go hungry though. You can also find chicken wings and tenders, appetizers, soups, salads, and sides that can satisfy your cravings.
While the new St. Pete location definitely deserves a spot on your foodie bucket list, more locations are also in the works. According to Mr. and Mrs. Crab's website, they'll be coming to
Clearwater, Davie, Ocoee, Sanford, and Tampa on Dale Mabry Highway.
As for when these new locations will find their place in, we'll just have to wait and see. Dates have yet to be released and Narcity did not receive a comment from the business prior to publication.
Whether you take your bae on a delicious date or save the seafood for yourself, Mr. and Mrs. Crab is one of those places you have to check out at least once in your life.
