Fear of the bacteria salmonella is prompting a supplier to US club retailer Costco to recall several sizes of its cooked frozen shrimp sold under its Kirkland Signature brand that was distributed earlier this year.
Supplier Kader Exports said in a statement that it was recalling two-pound bags of its frozen cooked, peeled and deveined shrimp in the 21/25 per pound, 31/40 per pound, and 50/70 per pound sizes. There have been no reports of illnesses linked to the product, the exporter said.
The products were distributed between late February and Mid-May of 2020.
