Belli's Bistro & Spirits, the popular comfort food destination at 3001 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. in Bay View, is officially bringing their savory dishes to Milwaukee's North Side.
Owner Charmice Dodson says that Belli's will softly launch their brand new mobile food trailer, which will serve a variety of Belli's most popular offerings, beginning Sunday, Aug. 23.
"Our customers are fifty-fifty," Dodson says. "About half are our neighbors from Bay View; but the other half are traveling to the restaurant from other locations, including the North Side."
In an effort to reach more of those North Side customers, she says they decided to take Belli's food on the road.
The new trailer – which is impossible to miss, thanks to its size and bright yellow color – will be parked at the intersection of 35th and Silver Spring daily between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. It will serve Belli's popular crab boil every day, along with daily specialties, including:
- Sunday and Monday: Smokin' Joe's smoked corned beef
- Tuesday: Tacos
- Wednesday: Wings
- Thursday: Steak
- Friday: Fish fry
- Saturday: Brunch
Belli's will also offer free bagged lunches, featuring items like sandwiches and fruit, for children every day between noon and 2 p.m. (children must be present to receive their lunch).
